One person died in Sindhuli on Saturday afternoon due to lightning. According to the police, 65-year-old Chandra Bahadur Majhi, a resident of Marin rural municipality-7 Maheshwata, who was grazing cattle in Marinkhola Bagar, was struck by lightning.
Majhi, who was in a critical condition after being struck by lightning, died during treatment at Kapilakot Primary Health Center, said Dharmaraj Khatri, chief police inspector of Kapilakot area police office.
