One person has lost both his legs after falling under the leak of Janakpur-Jayanagar railway. Sriram Das, about 35 years old, of Janakandani rural municipality-3, Mahua, lost both his legs in a railway leak.


At 11.30 am on Saturday morning, while he was walking along the railway track at Khajuri in Dhanusa, when the train coming from Jayanagar blew its horn, he got lost and fell into the train track. Deputy Superintendent of Police Dayaram Poudel informed that he lost both his legs when he got stuck in the leak.

Das was immediately admitted to Janakpur Regional Hospital Janakpur for treatment.
