Two minors were found dead in Sundararaicha of Morang on Saturday. According to the police, 3 and 1-year-old minors were found dead inside Keraghari located in Sundararaicha municipality-7. According to Koshi Police Provincial Office sources, the deceased are 3-year-old Aika and 1-year-old Arpana, daughters of Arjun Karki of Pakhribas Municipality-4 Dhikure of Dhankuta.
Seeing them dead inside Keraghari, the locals informed the police. Similarly, 29-year-old Asmita Neupane, the mother of the deceased minors, is also out of touch. According to the preliminary investigation of the police, there was a fight between the couple on Friday night.
It is said that Asmita walked out of the house with her two daughters at night. Asmita's husband Arjun was staying with his family at the house of sister Sita Regmi located in Sundararaicha-7. He and his family were staying at his sister's house because the house was under construction.
The police found a pesticide called Metacit near the body. The search for Asmita, who is in a state of incommunicado, and further investigations into the incident are ongoing, the police said.
