12-year-old Ambika Tamang of Jantedhunga Rural Municipality-4 Khuta was found dead. She was found hanging in the house of Shankar Tamang of Chorambu, Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality-3.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Purushottam Khadka of District Police Office Khotang, the girl, who was studying in class 3 at Shanti Niketan Minakarna Mavi Chorambu, was found dead on Friday evening while camping at Shankar's house.
After completing the legal process, the body was sent to the health institution in Indrenipokhari for post-mortem on Saturday morning.
