About 20 percent of people in Nepal are below the poverty line. About 5.8 million of the total population is still deprived of the lowest basic needs that are not necessary for human beings. The whole reason for this is those who have been leading the government for a long time. Therefore, although the system has changed in recent days, the condition of the people is not seen to have changed except for a few things.
It is high time that the representatives elected by the people seriously think about this. It is the responsibility of the state to identify the poor and provide them with basic daily necessities such as grass, shelter and cotton as well as education, health and employment opportunities. As soon as something happens, there is a tendency to form a committee and investigate it, but to solve the problems of people in remote areas of Nepal, the state is keeping silent.
It is necessary for experts called nationalists who argue that it is not easy to raise the economic level of the people even after being exploited and oppressed during the Panchayat period, and it is necessary to pressurize the formation of an impartial commission to investigate the assets of all those who hold positions of public benefit (political leaders or administrative employees). It is necessary to investigate the wealth earned illegally by indulging in corruption without telling this party and that party. For this, the time has come for all the people to challenge the government in a dignified manner.
