When the Prime Minister and UML President KP Sharma Oli and Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba were present at a program organized on the occasion of Gaura festival in Tundikhel on August 10, some youth raised slogans against them.
A few years ago, Sri Lanka's president was deported and Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to leave the country due to student protests. After the Tundikhel incident, the leader of the main opposition party, Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, has repeatedly said that the two major parties are trying to lead the country to chaos after the Tundikhel incident. They are making provocative statements that there is an increased risk of a situation like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the country. This has also raised the question whether there will be a movement that will cause instability in the country again. If the political activity continues to deteriorate like this, time will not wait for a movement to take place.
The way politics is developing now is the product of the slogan in Tundikhel. If an independent person or civil society is to take the leadership of the movement, then these political parties are creating a situation where the people will be reactivated from the villages. Now if there is a movement under the leadership of any party and if it is made successful, it will be like rewarding the fool again. Because no one else is going to be in such a movement anymore than his workers. The current leaders of the three major parties have already realized that they have made a mistake. If they did not feel that way, how much KP Sharma Oli could have satirized the Tundikhel incident. When Oli became the Prime Minister for the fourth time, he did not show the same excitement and ferocity as before. The chaotic slogan on himself has made him even more alert. If there is a movement now, it will not be against the Rana, Panchayat and Raja as before. There is a possibility that it will be a movement of the party against the party, so there is no possibility of the people being integrated in such a movement. Therefore, it seems that the next movement should be against the political parties on behalf of the free people.
