No matter what the leaders who say they are the people's representatives say or do, will it happen? Or does it have a limit and dignity? Shouldn't the leaders be careful about what to say, what not to say, and how much the common people will trust and appreciate when they say it? Leaders who live under the illusion that whatever I say will be digestible, the people will believe it, one day they themselves will be rejected by the people.
There is not a single person who believes what they say, only the slaves are correct. Are our leaders meant to be like that? If not, lose moderation in your speech? Speak only after studying facts and history, don't speak unlimited and indigestible things.
Prithvi Subba Gurung, Deputy Secretary General of UML and Minister of Communications and Government Spokesperson, has given an unlimited expression in Pokhara. Minister Gurung has stoked the fire by saying that the Chief of Police under his own government did not try to strengthen federalism by bringing the Police Act. He pointed to the police chief and directly said - IGP's tongue should be bitten! Is this the word spoken by a responsible minister in office?
It is time for the UML to explain this to the people, not Minister Gurung. Otherwise, tomorrow, other ministers will also speak in the same way, crossing all limits of dignity and decency, which may spread chaos in the state. Therefore, Minister Gurung should issue a public apology for uttering those unlimited words immediately, and if he refuses, the party president and the prime minister should take action against him.
Earlier in the parliament, UML MP Yogesh Bhattarai called the Maoist people's war violence or violence. In the sovereign parliament, he had used unrestricted language insulting the Maoist party. He accused the Maoists of committing violence for 10 years, not people's war, but the leaders of their own party deliberately forgot the violence of a similar nature in the past. To use such language and words by a leader as reliable as him is to forget the history and facts of his own party.
He was definitely a child in the year 2028, but when he grew up, he must have read the history of Nepali Communists. In the year 2028, did not the then communist rebels start a movement to cut the throats of the landlords of Jhapa saying that they would abolish the feudal system? Don't you know that the current Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Mohanchandra Adhikari, Radhakrishna Mainali, CP Mainali led it?
Was the Jhapa movement not violence? That Maoists will cause violence, UML will cause lotus flowers? As far as violence is concerned, Amnepali people are anti-violence. They don't even want to hear the word violence, whether it is done by Maoists or UML.
