Recently, road accidents have been increasing. Poor roads, non-information of the concerned authorities about the roads to the drivers, old vehicles, negligence of the driver or negligence of the pedestrians can be the factors for this.
Another tragic accident took place in Anbukhaireni of Tanahun when the missing bus and passengers were not found in Trishuli river under Narayangadh-Muglin road. This not only shows the condition of our roads, but shows how unsafe traveling is for the common man. It is necessary for the government to manage two-wheelers as much as possible in separate lanes at least in major cities, the Ghathaghar accident has confirmed this. The responsibility of the traffic police is more important to bring the increasing number of accidents under control. It is not only a regular inspection of the vehicles running on the highway, but also how many kilometers a driver can drive daily on a road with a topography like ours, it is necessary to make a standard. The relevant authorities should not delay in showing honesty regarding road quality. Otherwise, innocent civilians will have to keep losing precious lives.
