The parliamentary hearing committee has approved the names of the proposed 16 ambassadors. Out of 17 ambassadors proposed by the government, 12 were unanimously approved and 4 were approved by majority. After the graduation certificate of Ramakrishna Bhattarai proposed for Sri Lanka was not found, it was postponed to be decided only in the next meeting.

RSVP has refused to approve three and JSPA four ambassadors. DP Aryal of RSVP and Prakash Adhikari of JSPA have dissented after the majority decided on the proposed ambassador. Raswapa had different opinion on the names of the proposed ambassador of South Africa Kapilman Shrestha, proposed ambassador for Malaysia Netraprasad Timalsina and proposed ambassador for Israel Dhanprasad Pandit, while JSPA, the official of Nepal also has different opinion on the name of the proposed ambassador for India Shankar Sharma along with these three.
