Three candidates have been registered for the post of chairman of two committees under the National Assembly.
Two candidates have been registered for the post of Chairman of the Legislation Management Committee. On the proposal of MP Beduram Bhusal, MP Jayantidevi Rai has been nominated. Among Rai's supporters is MP Suresh Kumar Alemgar. The candidature of MP Tulsakumari Dahal has also been registered for the post of Chairman of the Legislation Management Committee. Dahal's supporters and proponents are MP Anand Prasad Dhungana and MP Bhagwati Neupane respectively. Rai was also the chairman of the committee.
Similarly, Secretary Surendra Aryal informed that only Maya Prasad Sharma's candidacy has been registered for the chairmanship of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee. Sharma's proponent is MP Madan Kumari Shah (Gariman) and his supporter is MP Nar Bahadur Bista.
