Giri Unanimous in President of Community Radio Broadcasters Association

The 18th annual general meeting and the 8th session held in Lalitpur on Sunday elected Giri unopposed as the president for the second term. The coordinator of the election committee Suvodhababu Chiluwal informed that the full working committee including the chairman was elected unopposed by the convention. According to him, Akorab's senior vice president Govind Devkota, vice presidents Khemkumari Pokharel, Milan Gaha, Navinnersingh Nepali and Gopal Baraili and general secretary Bandana Danuwar have been elected.

Similarly, Bhakta Syangtan in Savich and Tula Adhikari as treasurer and Padam Subedi, Achyut Paudel, Balram Shrestha, Navinraj Paudel, Kamala Kandel, Urvashi Basnyat, Geeta Chimoria and Hemanta Bahadur BK have been elected as central members.

The convention has unanimously elected Sangeet Basyal as Central Audit Committee Coordinator, Jeevan Lama and Hari Neupane as members . Tikajang Thapa has been unanimously appointed as the coordinator of the Central Ethics Committee. The

convention has also elected the leadership of all seven state working committees. According to Tek Bahadur Khadka as the chairman of the Koshi State Committee, Upasana Tiwari as the chairman of the Madhes State Committee, Deepak Lama as the chairman of the Bagmati State Committee, Omkar Acharya as the chairman of the Gandaki State Committee, Lumbini State Committee as the chairman. Navin KC has been elected as the chairman, Prateek Shishke Sharma as the chairman of the Karnali State Committee and Ved Prakash Timalsaina as the chairman of the Sudurpaschim Committee.
