The ruling Nepali Congress has said that there is no reason why the main opposition CPN (Maoist Centre) should block the Parliament session.

Congress spokesperson Prakasharan Mahat has asked the Maoist Center not to continue the work of disrupting the Parliament session due to the word "violence" being used in the Parliament. He insisted that there is no need to quote the words used by an MP in Parliament.

He said, 'Members in the Parliament reveal their own things. It is not something that has been agreed upon. They use a word. There was no section that should be obstructed so much. Now different adjectives are used in these matters in different stages in the Parliament and outside the Parliament as well. They give an adjective. The other side gives another adjective. However, the basic thing about that is that we have agreed, as this process has progressed. We have come to this place after the peace process has ended. We are in parliament at the same time. Because of that, there is no need for us to continue discussing those subjects.'

spokesperson Mahat also opined that all those involved in the controversy in the cooperative scandal should be investigated by the relevant agencies of the government. CPN (UML) MP Yogesh Bhattarai used the word 'Maoist violence' to insult the armed struggle of Maoists while speaking in Parliament, and the Maoist center has been objecting. The Maoists demanded that the Speaker Devraj Ghimire remove the word from the record of the Parliament. But after Speaker Ghimire decided that the word cannot be called unparliamentary, the Maoist center has been blocking the meeting of the House of Representatives in opposition to it.

Spokesperson Mahat said that the same words should not be taken in an exaggerated manner and should not disrupt the Parliament meeting. He commented that there is no need to object to some words when all the parties are standing together in settling the peace process.

Spokesperson Mahat warned not to be too reactive while in the opposition and not to delay the work of making the parliament work as the focus should be on making laws.
