  • Sharma gave the name of six leaders as an alternative to Deuba not to become the Prime Minister

Nepali Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba himself should now resign as Prime Minister. He suggested that Chairman Deuba should no longer become the Prime Minister, but rather propose another leader of his own generation to become the Prime Minister and become a political leader.

In the meeting of the central working committee held at Sanepa on Sunday, General Minister Sharma suggested that Deuba should give up and become a politician, saying that he had done everything he could for the party and the country while he was the Prime Minister of Nepal for five times.

He even took the names of six leaders asking him to put forward some leaders of his own generation for the next prime minister.

'Chairman Deuba will no longer be the Prime Minister . Now he should propose another leader of his own generation to be the prime minister. For that we have one leader in the House of Representatives. We have Dr. Shekhar Koirala is . Bimalendra Nidhi, Prakashman Singh, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Dr. Shashank Koirala and Arjun Narsingh KC are also there," a central member said, quoting Chief Minister Sharma as saying in the meeting, "They are also equally experienced and skilled. If we make any of them the prime minister - one, the resignation of the chairman will be seen. Two, some of his contemporary leaders will be judged and appreciated. Three, there is a new face in the leadership of the party and the country.'
