Respected leader of CPN (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal has claimed that there is no possibility of a two-party system in Nepal.

Calling the ruling alliance led by Congress-UML as crony capitalism and right-wing opportunism, he insists that even if they dare to introduce a two-party system in Nepal, it will not be possible.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of party central members held in Kathmandu on Sunday, the respected leader Khanal claimed that even though the two big parties are trying to bring a two-party system in Nepal, it will only be limited to imagination.

Respected leader Khanal said that since the Congress and UML are arrogant and corrupt parties, even the rumors they spread for the amendment of the constitution will not work. Respected leader Khanal said that without their support, the two big parties cannot change the salary and full stop in the name of constitutional amendment. He also warned that Nepalese people will resist the audacity of the ruling parties to remove the proportional inclusion system in the name of constitutional amendment.

Respected leader Khanal said, 'Two parties have formed a government. These are two proud parties. They are corrupt parties. And opportunistic parties. One would be a representative of reactionary broker capitalism. Another extreme opportunistic party is the right-wing leadership. The alliance of crony capitalism and right-wing opportunism. By forming this kind of coalition government, instead of what he is daring to do, he will create a two-party system. Which I think is impossible under the sun. At least in Nepal it is impossible.'

Leader Khanal said that Prime Minister KP Oli is running the power by riding on the Congress and it is sowing great dissatisfaction within the UML.
