A team of divers and locals have found the missing jeep that fell into the Sunkoshi river. Three passengers are still missing.

Three passengers have gone missing when a jeep going from Halesi in Khotang to Kathmandu fell into Sunkoshi near Golanjor Rural Municipality-1 Kundule in Sindhuli under Madhyapahari Folkway. One person in the jeep jumped and saved his life.

Sindhuli Police SP Govindaraj Kafle said that in the flow of Sunkoshi, Q. No. 3-01-023ch 6366 jeep number was found. The jeep was pulled to shore by a crane.

Since Sunday morning, a diving team of 10 people under the command of Police Inspector Dinesh Deuja has been mobilized from Armed Police Force Nepal Disaster Management Base Camp Khurkot to search for missing persons. SP Kafle said that the search operation was difficult because the flow of the river was high and it was cloudy.

Among those missing after falling into the Sunkoshi River are 32-year-old driver Avin Bade of Bhaktapur Suryavinayak Municipality, Jagat, 30-year-old Praneet Syagu and 37-year-old Balaram Ghatuwa.
