6 people have died in the Lekkhark landslide in Doramba Shailung Rural Municipality-3 Tokarpur of Ramechhap. According to the police, 30-year-old Chandika Thapa Magar, a child class teacher of a local school, and her 18-month-old son Aams Thapa Magar are among those who died in the landslide.

Similarly, bodies of 40-year-old Urmila Pahari, 17-year-old Sandeep Pahari, 18-year-old Vigyan Pahari and 14-year-old Santosh Pahari were also found. 10-year-old Anjana Pahri has been rescued from Chandika's house in an injured condition.

The landslide has washed away 5 houses. Chief District Officer of Ramechhap, Anita Niraula, said that the search for contactless persons is underway.
