11 people have gone missing in a landslide that occurred after heavy rain on Saturday night in Doramba-Shailung Rural Municipality-3 of Ramechhap.

Ramechhap police chief DSP Pradeep Kumar Singh informed that 11 people went missing due to a landslide in Lekkhark in the middle of the night.

Landslide has washed away 4 houses . Singh said that there was a problem in the rescue because the rain had also damaged the road leading to the landslide-hit village.

Landslide has swept away the bridge of the Dhaigaon River connecting Ward No. 2 and 3. DSP Singh said that the police team has moved towards Lake Khark. More details of the damage are yet to come .
