Senior Vice President of Maoist Center Narayankaji Shrestha has said that there is no alternative to President Pushpa Kamal Dahal. His statement came in the context of Deputy Secretary General Janardan Sharma's written proposal to the Standing Committee that Dahal should hand over the leadership.

In the consultation meeting of the Valley Special Province on Saturday, Shrestha expressed his opinion against Sharma's proposal saying that immediate transfer of leadership to Maoist is not possible.
