MP Sudan Kiranti of the main opposition party CPN (Maoist Centre) has objected that the ruling Congress-UML has advanced the concept of a two-party system.
MP Kirati said that when amending the constitution, there should be a provision that voters should not vote for any candidate in the election.
In Tuesday's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Kiranti said that the concept of a two-party system is not correct, saying that the main thing is for one party to win from many parties. He alerted the ruling coalition to advance the agenda of Agramaman while amending the constitution.
'The issue of two-party system has also been raised here . Is it democracy to choose one of two parties in a democracy? Is it democracy to choose one party among many parties? In sports, one person wins, who works hard, not by pushing others out of line,' Kirati said, 'In order to strengthen the people in a democracy, while amending the constitution, there should be a no-vote system by putting many forward-thinking agendas in it.'
MP Kirati said that the constitution should be amended to strengthen the people.
