CPN Maoist Center, National Independent Party (RSWP) and CPN United Socialists have decided not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to take a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives on Sunday.
The opposition parties decided to vote against the proposal of Prime Minister Oli's vote of confidence in the House of Representatives and held a group discussion at the Singh Darbar on Friday.
Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, RSVP Chairman Ravi Lamichhane and United Samajadi Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal after a discussion on Friday at Singhdabar, the three parties have reached the decision to stand in the opposition . "It has been decided that the opposition parties will oppose the vote of confidence taken by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli," said Ramesh Malla, private secretary of Dahal.
The incumbent Prime Minister Dahal failed to get a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on June 28. At that time, Maoists (32), RSVP (21) and United Socialists (10) gave a vote of confidence to Dahal .
The three opposition parties with 62 seats in the House of Representatives have stood together not to give a vote of confidence to Oli .
