Ncell Foundation has honored Para Taekwondo athlete Palesha Govardhan, who created history at the Paris Paralympics 2024, with a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Nepal, in a program organized on Wednesday, Ncell awarded cash to the five-member team including Palesha, the historic bronze medalist of the Paris Paralympics.

Company informed that the award was given by Ncell Foundation under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Para taekwondo coach Kaviraj Negi Lama of Palesha has received 3 lakh rupees and taekwondo player Varahsingh Mahata, swimmer Bhim Bahadur Kumal and swimming coach Wijenman Shrestha have each received a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees.
