Nepal Bottled Water Association has asked the vendors to sell the water at the specified price and quality.
The association issued a statement on Friday asking consumers not to sell more than the fixed price during the festival. The association emphasizes that consumers and concerned bodies should also be aware of the quality and price of water.
'Let's be aware of the quality of water, clear logo, embossing or printed jar, QR code sticker with price, clean and good jar, water bottle, lab test document, because it is seen that the sale and distribution of water will affect the mouth of Chadbad at more than the specified price.' The statement said, 'Also, we request you to purchase water with a bill.' Outside the valley, the retail price of a jar will be Rs 60 and a bottle will be Rs 20.
