The book 'Aryadarshanma Nari : Asti Hijo Aar Aaj' written by Damodar Adhikari was released on Saturday. After a long study and meditation of Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Smriti and the epics Ramayana and Mahabharata, Adhikari prepared the book in 17 chapters.

'This book seems to be based on the Vedic Samhita, Puranas and other religious and social texts and literature to depict the condition of women,' critic Chandrakala Ghimire said about the book, 'In the pre-Vedic Arya Samaj, women were as strong, capable and strong as men in the economic, social, educational, cultural and other fields. The author has shown in this book that there was no discrimination based on gender.'

Author Adhikari mentioned that he tried to write the book based on the facts written in Arya Darshan and history and said, 'to indicate the reality that Arya Darshan and the rituals and cultures that are included in it do not agree with the orthodox evils such as being a woman, one should not read the Vedas, having to perform sati, and child marriage becoming a religion. I also wrote a book.'

He claims that both men and women exist equally in Aryadarshan and claims that the current gender and caste discriminations are the result of events and incidents in the period. Prof.Dr. Released by Jayaraj Acharya.
