It has been four and a half years since Ana Sharma, who entered the Nepali film industry as an actress ten years ago with the film 'Jerry', released her latest film 'The Man from Kathmandu'. Even though she was confirmed to play in 'Jerry: On Top' in actor Anmol KC's 'Pairing' this year, she left the project at the last minute.
The production side removed her from the film saying that Ana did not show enough interest and brought in another actress Jasita Gurung. Ana, who has been showing good potential in the acting field, is now seen with actor Pradeep Khadka through 'Ektor'.
Rajan Bhusal's 'Actor', which is going to be released on the eve of Tihar, has released its 'solo poster' on Thursday. In the film, she is said to be playing the role of Sahariya girl Prakriti. Also, 'Actor' had brought five different 'character looks' of actor Pradeep in his first look poster, and in another poster, actor Rajballabh Koirala, who is making a comeback in Nepali films after about 10 years, has released a 'character poster'. The
multi-starrer 'Actor' stars Ana, Pradeep and Rajballab along with Divya Dev, Sushil Sitaula and others. Actor Dilip Raimazhi's daughter Divya is going to make her debut with this film, but Ana has been overshadowed by 'Buzz'.
The screenplay of 'Actor' produced by Thaman Kumar Bhandari under the banner of Adrit Films and Moti Films has been prepared by director Bhusal along with Akash Baral. The film has the cinematography of Narendra Mainali and has been edited by Nimesh Shrestha. The success of this film has also been linked to the film career of Ana, who is expected to return to the audience as an 'actor'.
