US Intra Cup Volleyball Tournament, Rukum and Belmont win

According to Nepali time, the Rukum team won the Sajni team with a set of 3-2 in the final match on August 31st. The players from Rukum in the Midwest of Nepal and living in the state of Texas in America are included in the Rukum team, while the players from the far west of Nepal in Nepal and living in Texas in America are included in the Sajni team. The first Rukum team won the gold cup of 10 tola gold and 12 thousand US dollars (16 lakh 9 thousand Neru). Dilli Adhikari, president of the organizing organization Intra-National Welfare and Support Foundation of America, handed over the award to them. In the same way, Nepali Club Belmont of Maryland state has won women's volleyball. Famous Nepali national players Sipora Gurung and Ramila Tandukar including Belmont won the gold cup of 10 tola gold and 9 thousand US dollars (12 lakh 6 thousand rupees).

Similarly, Sajni team, who became the runner-up in the men's category, received 8 thousand US dollars (1 million 72 thousand rupees) and BYSC Minnesota, the runner-up in the women's category, received 6 thousand US dollars (8 lakh 4 thousand rupees).

While distributing the awards, the president of the foundation said that after winning the game, the players did not return with prize money, trophies and cups, but Nepaliness, Nepali mind and Nepali ethnic unity were strengthened. He said that the Foundation will start the second edition of Mero Voice Universe and Mero Dance Universe from 2025 to strengthen Nepaliness and Nepali cultural unity around the world. Distributing the

award, General Manager of Nepal Television Phoolman Bal said that he is proud to see that Nepaliness and Nepali mind have been united in America and held a sports competition.

According to the information provided by Omraj Gurung, coordinator of the sports management committee, Sipora Gurung of Belmant for women and Demond Khadka of Rukum team for men were declared the best players of Intra Cup volleyball.
