A Nepali was shot dead in Houston, Texas, USA. Muna Pandey, a Nepali student, was shot dead in his own apartment.

Police were informed after Pandey was found in the apartment with a bullet wound in the chest on Monday evening. She was dead when Houston police arrived at the scene at 5:35 p.m. Monday. The Houston police released a statement stating that the victim was shot multiple times inside the apartment.

Pandey from Bhojpur went to America for graduation studies in 2021. Drona Gautam, the first vice president of the Nepali Association of Houston, has informed that Pandey is studying nursing at Houston Community College.

Pandey initially lived with a friend who had gone from Nepal. But later she took an apartment and started living alone.
