Agriculture and Livestock Development Minister Ram Nath Adhikari has directed to complete the construction of Chobhar flower and fruit wholesale market by Dasai.
The ministerial officer who arrived to inspect the under construction flower and fruit wholesale market at Chobhar in Kathmandu on Friday gave this instruction. He instructed the market construction company to complete the remaining work immediately.
The minister also said that the construction company should complete the construction and hand it over within the specified time limit. He said that if the work is not done according to the agreement, action will be taken according to the law, and instead of what happened in the past, he instructed to work in such a way that the building is handed over to the government before December.
He said, 'We look at it from the side of the ministry. The building should be handed over as soon as possible. Let us believe that it will not be too late. Let's not talk about what happened in the past. The building should be inaugurated by this Dashain. Let us not follow any rumors. The land belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture. The Ministry had contracted in the past for what was under its Ministry. The work will be done accordingly.
A contract was signed in June 2073 to build a wholesale flower and fruit market in Chobhar at a cost of around 35 million rupees. But the building work has not been completed yet.
