department, cotton and man-made Sarees, lungis and dhoti made of fiber have been imported. Sarees, lungis and dhoti worth Rs 3 billion 51 crore 17 lakh were imported last financial year. Last year, sarees were imported from various countries including India, China, Indonesia, America, and the UK.
78 lakh 63 thousand 79 sarees worth 3 billion 44 crore 42 lakh rupees were imported from India alone. Sarees worth 3 crore 81 lakh 92 thousand rupees were imported from China.
