Ghanshyam Bhandari, Minister of Social Development of the Karnali State Government, has said that skill training will be arranged for the families of the victims of the armed conflict. According to Minister Bhandari, after the members of the conflict-affected families request training according to their needs, they will provide facilities for professional skill training.

Speaking at the interactive program on the implementation aspects and future direction of the amended Bill on Transitional Justice held on the occasion of the 14th International Day of Enforced Disappearances, Minister Bhandari urged everyone to forget the pain of the past and play a judicial role now. "The state government will not back down to provide some assistance to the victim's family," he said, "Come with your needs and we will fulfill them."

Kalyani Khadka, chairman of the Karnali State Affairs Committee and member of the State Assembly, said that the issue of the conflict victims should not be overshadowed. "The people affected by the conflict and their families are still suffering," she said, "even though the state agencies have taken some positive actions, they have not yet been satisfied."

Sachin Baduwal, vice president of the coordination committee, said that there should be no weakness in giving justice to the victims from both the state and the rebels. In the law introduced by the government, only the work of creating a commission and appointing members has been done. Pitambar Dhakal of the Human Rights Defenders Group opined that the government should create an environment where conflict cases can be registered openly. He said that the integrated details of the missing persons are still not clear. He insisted that justice should be done by forming a commission according to the conflict victims and national sentiments. The victims of the conflict participating in the

program complained that the state has not yet given justice. They said that the wounds of the past conflicts have not yet healed and they still expect from the government.
