MCA-Nepal has signed an agreement for construction of 18 km cross-border transmission line under the MCC-Nepal Compact.

According to a statement released by MCA-Nepal, this 123.60 million US dollar contract will be built with Transrail Lighting Limited, which will be built from the new 400 kV capacity Butwal substation under construction in Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta Paschim) district to the Nepal-India border for a contract period of 21 months.
