The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, fell by 79.88 points. On Sunday, NEPSE closed at 2894.57 points, down by 2.68 percent. While the value of 59 companies increased, the value of 185 companies decreased.
On the first day of the week, 218,578 shares were bought and sold, and shares worth 19,745,500,000 rupees were traded. On Sunday, a total of 46,686,840 shares were bought and sold.
Out of the total 13 subgroups, only microfinance subgroup increased . Microfinance sub-group increased by 58.40 points . Among the declining sub-groups, life insurance led by 369.41 points . Life insurance decreased by 328.96, hotel and tourism by 177.50, development bank by 145.17 and finance by 139.33 points.
Api Power Company, Himalayan Reinsurance, Sine Resunga Bikas Bank were ahead in terms of turnover. 84 crore 68 lakh of Api Power Company Rupee shares have been traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance worth Rs 73 crore 43 lakh and Sign Resunga Development Bank Rs 51 crore 96 lakh have been traded.
