'Correction' of 8 points in NEPSE, buying and selling shares of 21 and a half billion

The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading, closed at 2,923.46 points on Tuesday, down by 8.18 points. The NEPSE, which had increased by about 280 points in the previous four days of trading, was corrected by a single point on Tuesday.
Out of those that came into trading on Tuesday, the share prices of 80 companies increased, while 157 companies decreased, while the share prices of the remaining 6 companies remained stable . On that day, 5 crore 27 lakh 64 thousand 832 shares were bought and sold in 2 thousand 665 transactions. Shares worth 21 billion 515 million rupees have been traded in that purchase .
Among the 13 subgroups traded on that day, the index of development bank, hotel and tourism, hydropower, production and processing, microfinance, non-life insurance, collective investment fund and others decreased . Indices for the rest of the banking, finance companies, investments, life insurance and business subgroups rose .
Non-life insurance index fell the most by 145.67 points and mutual fund fell the least by 0.01 points . Similarly, the index of life insurance sub-group increased the most by 79.73 points and investment the least by 0.09 points.
