Nepal Rastra Bank has put forward a plan to create guidelines related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI guidance has been mentioned in the monetary policy for the financial year 2081/82 released on Friday.
As the use of AI technology in banks and financial institutions is increasing, Rashtra Bank is ready to find its challenges and opportunities. "In view of the increasing use of digital technology in institutions licensed/licensed by this bank, a necessary study will be conducted in relation to artificial intelligence (AI) used in the financial sector," the monetary policy said, "identifying the risks that may be created and minimizing them, in order to make maximum use of artificial intelligence." Guidance will be formulated .'
Earlier, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has prepared and published a concept paper related to AI for the first time . The Ministry has prepared a strategic concept paper on AI including the steps to be taken by the government and all stakeholders for the development, use and regulation of AI.
