It has been mentioned that Nepal Rastra Bank will take initiatives to make payments through electronic means more systematic and effective in both public and private sectors. Rashtra Bank's goal is to facilitate the collection of revenue by making electronic payment technology effective in government offices.
Through the monetary policy of the current financial year, the National Bank has announced that it will facilitate the collection of revenue using electronic payment devices in the main offices where public services are provided. Similarly, it is mentioned that the system for importing foreign currency through electronic means for exporting services including information technology will also be made more effective. The National Bank had also issued instructions on this matter.
'Necessary coordination and facilitation is being done for the arrangement of electronic devices from the payment service provider,' the monetary policy says, 'The smooth operation of the transactions carried out by the organizations involved in the electronic payment will be arranged through the system of this bank, which is compatible with the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructure .'
