Moon Pradhan from Nepal has been elected as District Director of Toastmasters International District 41 covering Nepal and Northern India. According to Toast Master International, she has become the first woman from Nepal to lead the position.
Moon Pradhan was appointed to the post in the district conference held on Saturday in New Delhi, India, with the participation of the members of the region. She will lead District 41 for the next one year. A speech competition was organized at the
conference in which Nepali contestants won the top three positions of the international speech competition. Sahil Baral, who won the competition, is moving towards the regional competition with the possibility of competing in the World Championship of Public Speaking. The first runner-up was Dipesh Chalise and the second runner-up was Vaishali Pradhan.

speech, has more than 42 thousand clubs and more than 270 thousand people. ;
Toastmaster Pradhan is also a knowledge management and communication specialist at a leading international development organization. She leads the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion and Career Counseling Branch in this project. She has been working for the rights of women and children for a long time.
