Due to high temperature, the summer vacation of schools in southern Pakistan will be extended by two weeks. An education official said that more than one lakh schools will be affected by this.
Pakistan is increasingly vulnerable to climate change. Due to climate change, the schools here are going to be closed for two more weeks from Tuesday after the hot air started blowing. According to the education department of Sindh province, it has been decided to close the schools for another 14 days for the welfare of the children.
Pakistan faced a drought in May and June when temperatures exceeded 50 degrees Celsius in some areas of Sindh province . In Punjab, the country's most populous province, officials have said that school holidays have been granted to children to protect them from the scorching heat.
