The Wagmati state government has honored Palesha Govardhan, who won a medal in the Paris Para Olympics, with Rs. On the occasion of Constitution Day on Thursday, bronze medalist Palesha was honored with a market walk in Hetaunda.

Erika Gurung, who won a historic silver medal for Nepal in karate at the 19th Asian Games with Palesha, was honored with 5 lakhs. . Palesha's coach Kaviraj Negi was given 2 lakh rupees and Nepal Taekwondo Association Wagmati Province Committee was given 1 lakh rupees.
