Jharna Sports Club. Preparations for the 36th Jharna Running Shield Knockout Football Tournament to be held in memory of Khagi Gurungseni have been completed. The competition will start from October 2nd at the playground of Uma Basic School Tilottama-6 Kunjalapur.
According to the organizer, 16 teams will participate in the competition this year. Apart from 13 teams from Rupandehi, one team each from Walling in West Nawalparasi, Kapilvastu and Syangja are participating in the competition. The winner of the
competition will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with 3 lakh 31 thousand rupees, while the second runner-up will get a trophy, medal and certificate along with 1 lakh 81 thousand. will be done .
Similarly, the best player will get 15,000, the best defense, the best midfielder, the best striker, the best goalkeeper and the best coach will get 10/10,000 respectively. Every day's Man of the Match will get a cash prize of Rs 3,000 throughout the match period.
Established by local youth in 2027, the club has been running the Running Shield competition every year since 2039. A ticket fee of 50 rupees has been fixed to watch the match.
