Barcelona beat Girona 4-1 in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday, maintaining their 100% performance. This is Barcelona's fifth win in a row and with this, the team is at the top of the league table with 15 points. Real Madrid is in second place with 11 points.
Villarreal also has the same 11 points and is third on goal difference. Young star player Lamin Yamal scored two goals in the first half for Barcelona in an impressive win at home against Girona. He scored in the 30th and 37th minutes. Then Danny Olmo scored another goal in the 47th minute and Pedri in the 64th minute.
One of Girona's goals was in the name of Christian Stuni. At the end of the game, Barcelona was limited to ten players. Ferran Torres was shown a red card and thus he was forced to leave the field in the 86th minute. Girona, who played well last season, is in seventh place with seven points.
