The Sudurpaschim Province government, which has been in a budget vacuum for two months, on Monday brought a budget of 31 billion 62 billion 98 lakh 28 thousand rupees for the financial year 2081/82.

18 billion 76 crore 25 lakh 23 thousand i.e. 59.32 percent has been allocated towards capital in the budget statement presented by Minister of Economic Affairs Bahadur Singh Thapa in the provincial assembly on Monday. Currently, 12 billion 85 crore 74 lakh 5 thousand 40.65 percent has been allocated . 1 crore has been placed in the financial system .

The proposal to withdraw the budget statement and other bills related to the budget submitted by the previous government's economic affairs minister Surendra Bahadur Pal in the provincial assembly on June 1 has been passed. After that, the current Economic Affairs Minister Thapa started the presentation of the budget statement for the financial year 081/82 in the meeting.

However, the MPs of the opposition party Maoist Center and United Socialists boycotted the meeting saying that the process of bringing the budget was unconstitutional. After they left the meeting room, only RPP MP Khemadevi Bista and independent MP Tara Joshi remained on the opposition bench.
