Dipendra Bisht of Marma said that apples produced in Apihimal are being bought and sold in Latinath, Balach, Ganna, Gokuleswar etc. of the district. He said that local apples are being sold at 200 to 220 rupees per kilo.

According to Tamang, the agricultural officer of the Prime Minister's Agriculture Modernization Project, last year, 2,375 apple plants were distributed to farmers as subsidies. Based on the demand of the farmers, the apples of Italy, Gala Fuji Royal, Delicious, Golden Delicious varieties have been planted.
