9 families have been displaced in Baitadi due to landslides after three days of rain. According to the Ward Office, 9 families from Surnaya Rural Municipality-8 Dhole in Baitadi District have been displaced.

According to Bhan Bahadur Bohra, Ward President of Ward No. 8, 5 families from Ratapani toll of Dhole, 3 families from Mallo Dhole and one family from Lower Dhole have been displaced by the landslide. The municipality has informed that 9 families have been moved to a safe place after the risk of the house being washed away. Ward president Bohra said that the displaced family is now living in a relative's house.

According to the ward president, the families of Uddhav Bohra, Dhanuva Bohra, Ramsingh Bohra, Gambhirsingh Bohra and Krishna Bohra of Ratapani village have been displaced. The families of Lal Luhar, Parmal Luhar and Jahare Bohra of Mallo Dhole, as well as the family of Mane Luhar of Lower Dhole have also been displaced by the landslide. Ward president Bohra said that even though the rain stopped on Sunday, the landslide did not stop.

Ward president Bohra says that arrangements should be made for the resettlement of displaced families. The village council has been requested for this. He said that they immediately ordered Tripal and drinking water pipes from the municipality. He says that food is also being managed.

According to the ward office, the houses of Indra Saud of Kathmandu and Hari Bahadur Bohra of Lower Dhole are at risk of landslides. The landslide has also washed away the farms of the locals of Dhole settlement. Ward president Bohra informed that the road was washed away in Mallo Dhole and the farmland in Ratapani village was swept away by the landslide.
