After a child died of electrocution in Baitadi, his relatives blocked the highway demanding compensation.
On Friday, 12-year-old Vasant Bohra of Sigas Rural Municipality-9 died due to electrocution, informed the police spokesperson of District Police Office Baitadi, Police Inspector Balram Pandey, that his relatives blocked the Jai Prithvi Highway since evening.
At 12 o'clock in the afternoon of spring, when the goats went to graze, they got entangled in a wire lying on the ground and died on the spot. The police said that his body was at the scene.
A team led by Police Inspector Rajendra Saud, head of the area police office Patan, has reached the area to open the highway.
