A child has died due to electrocution in Baitadi. 12-year-old Basant Bohra of Surnaya-8 Bachpani of the district died.
According to the local Double Bohras, around 12 noon on Friday, the Bohras, who went to graze goats in the forest near the local Ghumti, pulled the wire near the ground. Due to the current flowing in that wire, he was electrocuted and died. While grazing the goats, a wire pulled from near the ground was touched and got electrocuted.
The incident took place on the line stretching from Khodpe to Sribhavar. Locals allege that this incident happened due to extreme negligence of electricity. There had been an incident at that place before.
