The road has been blocked due to a dry landslide on Jaipruthwi highway in Bajhang. The highway has been blocked since 7 am today after a dry landslide near Tamail Bazar. After the road was blocked, long and short distance vehicles leaving and entering the district headquarters Chainpur could not ply.
Bus businessman Jog Bahadur Daulayal informed that only five buses left the headquarters in the morning. He said that in the morning, only a few buses left for Dhangadhi, Kathmandu, Mahendranagar, Dadeldhura from Bajhang passed and all the rest of the buses were stopped.
Chief District Officer Bishwamitra Kuinkel informed that the JCB came from Jhota of Kedarsyun rural municipality to open the road, but could not open it because the landslide did not stop. He said that the road can be opened only after the landslide stops.
