Locals of Musetti along with Bhat have reached the municipal office on Wednesday to voice similar complaints. Khalla and Musetti have only basic schools . The students of that area have to go to Brahmadev to study secondary level . After the road is blocked, children walk for an hour and a half to go to school. They say that it is impossible to walk because of the river when it rains. There are more than 500 families living in three settlements namely Khalla, Tundikhel and Musetti in that area. These settlements in the Mahakali Corridor are disconnected from the road during the rainy season. Birendra Bishta of Musetti said that it is a problem to take the pregnant women and the elderly to the hospital. According to him, after the rain in the third week of June in Musetti, the electricity service is also interrupted.
More than 300 families in the area are in the dark after the transmitter broke down. "Even the staff who restored electricity could not reach it because of the lack of roads, the whole village has become dark during the rainy season," said Bisht, "on the one hand, there is a risk of floods, and on the other, there is a fear of snakes and insects in the area." . Due to the blocking of the road, it has become difficult to get even daily consumables from salt to oil in that area . Locals walk for two hours and reach Tanakpur via Brahmadev to bring food. Now they say that it is difficult because even the walking path has been washed away. Residents of that area have to reach Brahmadev even for Kutani-Pisani.
