Collection of materials for KI Singh Museum

Locals have enthusiastically supported the campaign conducted by KI Singh Rural Municipality. KI Singh Rural Municipality has established a 10-room museum in Ward No. 1 Dumrakot with its own investment. Known as former Prime Minister and courageous leader of Nepali politics, Dr. The museum is going to be put into operation at the birthplace of K.I.Singh.

Meen Bahadur Shahi of Dumrakot informed that a collective decision has been taken to give materials reflecting archaic and dotya lifestyle from all the households of Dumrakot. Nar Bahadur Karki, the principal of Jhimemalika High School, said that the new generation is ignorant of the ancestral lifestyle because valuable materials that reflect traditional art, culture and identity are not used. Karki said that it is everyone's responsibility to provide free materials reflecting the historical and cultural lifestyle in the museum to introduce the new generation.

On Saturday, a discussion program was organized by KI Singh Gapa on museum operation and management. Chairman Shahi informed about the campaign in the discussion. Rural Municipality President Lokendra Bahadur Shahi has asked for assistance by providing materials reflecting history and identity. He said that in the museum, materials reflecting the life of KI Singh as well as costumes, culture, history and archeology of the Far West will be kept for exhibition.
