A motorcyclist has gone missing while crossing the river in Jumla. Umesh Chand, Information Officer of District Police Office, Jumla, informed that 28-year-old Harikrishna Budha, a resident of Rini Rural Municipality-7, a motorcyclist fell while crossing the Kathe Bridge of Jawa River at Lum in Patarasi Rural Municipality-4 of the district.
On Wednesday morning, while going to Talfi from Lasi market in the municipality, the police were deployed at the scene for rescue after receiving information that a motorcycle numbered 1 P 1820 had fallen into the river.
Information officer Chand said that 27-year-old Jai Bahadur Khadka of Patarasi-7 Rini, a passenger riding a motorcycle, was rescued. The police said that the search for the missing driver is underway.
