Nepalgunj-based Bheri Hospital has arranged for the customers to book tickets online for the first time.
The hospital has recently started an 'online ticket service' where customers can book their tickets online from home. Acting Medical Superintendent of Bheri Hospital, Dr. Prakash Bahadur Thapa said that the hospital has started online ticketing service to reduce the need for hundreds of patients to stand in line for hours.
'More than 1,000 patients come to the OPD of the hospital daily to get services, they have to queue to get tickets', he said, 'We have started an online ticket service to provide convenience to the customers by reducing the need to queue for hours.' ;
According to Mesu Thapa, the related doctor and room number are also placed on the website for the treatment of the disease that the client wants to be tested for. After visiting the website, the customer has to fill the form with the required information. After filling the form, the customer has to pay Rs 30 for the service fee online and can book the ticket at any time.
After paying the service fee, a token number can be obtained online and after showing the token to the hospital, it is arranged to get immediate service, said Birendra Bahadur Shah, Chairman of Bheri Hospital Development Committee. According to him, more facilities are being expanded to make the hospital services more quality and timely. According to the hospital, the online ticket service is open 24 hours a day.
