17 absconding defendants arrested on the same day

West Nawalparasi police arrested 17 absconding accused on the same day. The accused, who has yet to pay the prison term due to the decision of the court, was arrested on Tuesday.
According to DSP Resham Bohra of Nawalparasi District Police Office, the district police office and its subordinate police units have nabbed the fugitive accused. Those arrested have been submitted to District Court Nawalparasi for imprisonment and payment of sentence.
He is an absconding accused in cases such as vehicular homicide, fraud, assault, mutilation, dishonored check etc. 13 years and 1 month and 19 days of imprisonment and a fine of 590,000 rupees have been recovered from them. 509 fugitive accused were arrested.
